One man's trash is another man's treasure.
I saw that statement in action this weekend at our yard sale. My sister finally made my mom clean out her attic, after 25 years of just shoving crap up there. It was high time for a yah-dee. My sister and I brought some stuff over too.
We had a steady stream of people from 7:30-2. We quickly learned the ropes, scanning the crowd for the suckers and for the yard sale warriors. We played the 'bad cop/good cop' with some people. It was fun. All told we made close to $400. Not bad for a half days work. That money is going right into the Vacation 2011 Fund.
