Posers

We have a lot of Buddhas in our house. We do not practice Buddhism. We just like Buddhas and have acquired them throughout the years.

Buddha #1: An engagement gift from Cory's grandmother. It originally belonged to her friend who dabbled in Buddhism.

Buddha #2: A Christmas gift from my brother.
Buddha #3: Perhaps our most prized Buddha. A joke gift from my quirky cousin. He found it at a yard sale I think. There are so many elements of this Buddha that are just plain wrong.

So that's the history of our Buddha collection. I tell you this as a context for the conclusion of this tale. The other day, Cory was meandering in our backyard which abuts the Town Forest. He came upon this treasure on our property line. Kismet.
