We finished The Wire this weekend. I am honestly a little sad inside knowing that we don't have our episodes to look forward to anymore. It was by far one of the best shows on television (along with Lost and 6 Feet Under.) I watched the last 10 minutes of the final episode with a little bit of a pit in my stomach, kind of like the feeling you get on the last day of vacation. Sigh.

It's Over
We finished The Wire this weekend. I am honestly a little sad inside knowing that we don't have our episodes to look forward to anymore. its the worst. i also get jealous of people just starting to watch it.
ReplyDeleteI was talking to one of my younger co-workers about the show and my boss chimed in to find out what we were talking about. After hearing me sing the show's praises for about an hour, she said she goes to put it in her Netflix cue. I was trying as politely as possible to tell her it wasn't up her alley. (She's 55, very white, and very naive suburban mom.) I am just picturing her watching the first raw McNulty sex scene. Yikes.
