The Sky Is Falling

When we moved into our new house, we set out on a mission to get all energy efficient and greened out. One of the programs we took advantage of was the insulation rebate. For 2 days contractors came in and blew insulation into our walls and attic. The insulation is no longer that pink fiberglassy stuff. Instead its recycled, shredded newspaper.

We enjoyed that insulation for a while but sadly we said good bye to some of it yesterday when the contractors tore up the attic to give us a cathedral ceiling. They were cursing our green crusade with every clump of insulation that rained down on their heads.

  2. We are lucky. Cory's cousin, Pete, is our contractor. We also have a friend who is a plumber.
