Tummy to Toes Drive
Sponsored by Boston Cares, The Boston Globe and Building ImpactBoston winters can be frigid, so it is our priority to keep all of our babies toes warm and toasty, and their tummies full of healthy food. Fortunately, this February we will be getting some help from the second annual Tummy to Toes Drive, supported by the Boston Globe, Boston Cares and Building Impact. New and lightly used shoes appropriate for newborns to age three will be collected at dozens of locations around the Greater-Boston area. A full list of collection sites will be posted soon. Last year we received more than 800 pairs of shoes, and the Greater Boston Food Bank received much needed food. We hope to have another successful year as our client program has grown significantly.
Let me know if you have any shoes to donate and I'll pick them up. I'll make the donation in early March.
