Weekly Meal Planning

Monday- Nanny's
Tuesday- Grilled shrimp with black bean and corn salsa over grilled polenta cakes
Wednesday- We have Bea's pre-school meeting. (It was cancelled last week due to the storm.) We'll make a (much needed) date night and go out to dinner before.
Thursday- Spaghetti squash with turkey meat sauce
Friday- Roasted chicken with roasted beets and cauliflower

And for the record, I tried to like lamb last week. I just can't dig it, even when its hidden in Shepherd's pie.

I am starting to fall into a cooking rut. Anyone have any ideas?


  1. I have a cream of chicken and wild rice soup recipe that's delicious and healthy. I'll email it to you if that sounds like something you might like.

  2. I use the Food Network app all the time. You can look up recipes by chef, by ingredients you have - whatever. And you can automtically add ingredients to your shopping list and virtual recipe box - some great ideas!

  3. buy chicken in bulk, seperate in zip block bags, add dressing (honey mustard and sweet vidalia onion or a northern italian work best). you can freeze the packages and the morning of you can defrost then cook.... the chicken comes out so flavorful! i'm loving zucchini with evoo.
